Chicago Blackhawks fans trying to get a hand on history could be just one tweet away from Lord Stanley’s Cup.

A new twitter feed called “WheresTheCup” tracks the championship trophy’s every move. Right now, about 3,000 fans contribute to the victory tour.

The page went up on Thursday, June 10th, just hours after Blackhawks Captain Jonathan Toews carried the Stanley Cup off a plane at O’Hare airport. Since then, twitter followers tracked it throughout the city, tweeting sites like Beverly bar, Harry Carey’s, Tavern on Rush and the Hyatt among other places.

The tweets even helped one man catch up with Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Brent Seabrook and Duncan Keith at an airport terminal. The four flew to L.A., cup in tow, as part of a continued celebration on the “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” Monday night.
