Prior to their Sunday game in Oakland, the Chicago White Sox placed outfielder Dewayne Wise on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring and recalled outfielder Jordan Danks from Charlotte, the team announced Sunday.

Danks, 26, has played in nine games with Chicago this season and is the younger brother of White Sox pitcher John Danks.

Sunday's game marks the first time the two brothers are on the active roster at the same time.

Wise joins Gordon Beckham, Gavin Floyd and Leyson Septimo on the team's disabled list.
