Bristol debuted her new jawline at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner on April 30.

The rumors are true—Bristol Palin’s new look is a result of going under the knife.

The Associate Press reports that the young “Dancing with the Stars” alum had corrective jaw surgery in December, shortly after her departure from the competition show.

Palin, 20, revealed her new look at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner on April 30th, amid a flurry of speculation.

The surgery, however, wasn’t cosmetic. Palin, in an upcoming interview with Us Weekly said the operation was “necessary for medical reasons,” reportedly to fix an overbite.

Palin’s face is noticeably more angular, with more defined cheekbones.

What, you ask, is her stance on cosmetic operations? "I wouldn't get plastic surgery unless I got in an accident or something terrible and got disfigured," she told Us.

Bristol will soon have her own reality TV show based in Los Angeles (no more clubbing halibut in Alaska!) with her son Tripp and actress Kyle Massey.

Here’s to the new you, Bristol.
