What the family of the unidentified girl might have paid to have Drake perform at the party was not clear.

It's likely not the first time Drake, who was raised Jewish, has performed at one of the faith's coming-of-age celebrations.

In "Over My Dead Body, the opening track to his Grammy winning 2011 album "Take Care", he rapped that he had "just performed at a bar mitzvah over in the states, used half of the money to beat my brother's case."

He also recreated his own bar mitzvah in the 2012 music video to the song "HYFR."

The performance was first reported by Gothamist.
