The Buzz: Crespo has been the 44th district's representative since 2007. He formerly worked as an executive supervisor at People's Energy. He has worked on legislation surrounding education, public works and health care. Crespo's platform has a strong focus on protection from sex-offenders, the rights of senior citizens, gun violence and funding for schools.
Crespo is a former Hoffman Estates trustee. He was the chairman of the Health and Safety Committee, co-chairman of the Roselle Road Business District Committee, vice chairman of the Public Works and Utilities Committee, and member of the Finance & Storm Water Management committees.
