Blagojevich “Very Concerned, Very Nervous”: Sorosky

The Blagojevich family is concerned and nervous waiting for the jury to reach a verdict in the former governor's corruption trial, attorney Sheldon Sorosky said today.

Speaking in the lobby of the Dirksen Federal Court building, Sorosky said he though the jury was performing well and normally, but that Rod Blagojevich and his family were anxiously awaiting the outcome.

"Well obviously they're very concerned, they're very nervous," Sorosky said. "We hope and expect the jury will find him not guilty."

Asked how, in his 40 years of experience, one could comfortably wait out a jury, Sorosky said "there isn't any way."
