The trailer for the new Woody Allen film, "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger," has arrived. The 96-second clip is evocative as nothing so much as the seminal '70s sitcom "Soap."

The airy piano with dramatic stops, the sardonic narration describing not just the travails of each character, but the relationships between them. It's a little grating in its high-brow wackiness.

As always, Woody has assembled an all-star cast, including Anthony Hopkins, Naomi Watts, Josh Brolin, Freida Pinto, Antonio Banderas, Anna Friel and Lucy Punch. And as is Woody's custom, "Tall Dark Stranger" explores matters of class, aging, infidelity, May-December romance, death...

The film has received mixed reviews, scoring 7.6 (out of 10) at IMDB, but only 25 % at Rotten Tomatoes. It comes out Sept. 22.
