No charges have been filed against a West Side woman who told police that she had to stop her cousin from beating her.
The woman stabbed Jerry Jetters, 22, in the kitchen of her home, where he had chased her after hitting her in the face and head.
The Cook County state's attorney's office rejected charges against her, citing self defense, according to Police Officer Laura Kubiak.
