Drew Peterson Gets New Judge

Drew Peterson appeared in court Monday as a new judge was assigned to his case at the request of defense attorneys.

Chief Jedge Gerald Kinney assigned the case to Circuit Judge Stephen White, who scheduled a hearing for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Peterson has pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree murder, after being accused of murdering his third wife, Kathleen Savio.

Savio's body was found dead in a dry bathtub in her Bolingbrook home and her death was originally ruled accidental. Further testing led to the murder charges, after his fourth wife, Stacey Peterson, disappeared.
