Looks like The Donald had some bronzer issues that made him look less like a real-estate mogul and reality TV star, and a lot like an Oompa Loompa. Though we do know a thing or two he can tell his makeup artist: "You're fired!"
Sounds like Groupon might have learned its lesson from the fallout from its culturally insensitive Superbowl ads.
In reaction to an online petition urging the group-buying site not to sponsor The Apprentice -- and therefore give the impression of being sympatico with host Donald Trump's political views -- spokeswoman Julie Mossler posted a statement on the site's blog:
Enough consumers have contacted us to warrant ensuring that we don’t place ads on the Apprentice homepage in the future…this isn’t a political statement, it’s avoiding intentionally upsetting a segment of our customers.
Could it be Groupon is growing up?
