Bears players traded in their football cleats Monday night in favor of bowling shoes for a good cause.
Jay Cutler, D.J. Moore and other players showed up at Algonquin Brunswick Zone XL last night to bowl and raise money for 14-year-old Brandon Peters, who suffers from terminal cancer.
Peters is a freshman at Crystal Lake Central High School and has been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Funds from last night's event, including a silent auction and VIP tickets featuring a meet and greet with players, will be used for Peters' medical bills.
