WMAQ Goes “Green” for Hurricane Coverage

Andy and Rob track Hurricane Irene on our modified weather set in the NBC 5 Tower Friday. The NFL gameday action inspired us to expand our green Chroma key to the floor using green carpet to give you a better look at the storm. Our behind-the-scenes crew worked during the week to make the idea a reality. Andy definitely called some great weather plays. He’s our weather quarterback.
