Plan for migrant camp at Brighton Park site scrapped by state over contamination concerns

A controversial Brighton Park location will not be used to house migrants in a basecamp this winter, Governor J.B. Pritzker announced Tuesday citing concerns over contaminants found on the property, NBC Chicago’s Bennett Haeberle reports.
