Mayor Defends Security Plan For Lollapalooza as COVID Cases Rise

As Lollapalooza begins, the increase in COVID cases has the CDC placing 10 counties in the Chicago area, including Cook County, in a category that recommends wearing a mask indoors. As for safety, Mayor Lightfoot defended the security plan for Lolla, what is now billed as this year’s largest music festival in the world. NBC 5’s Mary Ann Ahern reports.
