Drug to Prevent Blood Clots in Children Gets Tested in Chicago Area

When someone is put on a blood thinners, they often have frequent blood draws to monitor the medication. That can be traumatic, especially for young children with health issues. Now there’s a new option that was tested right here in the Chicago area. NBC 5’s Lauren Petty reports.
