‘Deadliest Year' Chapter 3: Tools to Thrive

Thousands of Transgender people, specifically Black and Brown Transgender women, face violence every day. Unfortunately, many of these interactions result in death. Brave Space Alliance is the first and only Black and Trans-led LGBTQ+ Resource Center on Chicago’s South Side. Alongside community partners, it’s providing a space for BIPOC Queer people to thrive instead of survive.
