Crown Act Passed in Illinois Prohibits Hair Discrimination

The Crown Act was designed to make sure everyone has the freedom to wear their hair however they choose. Several states passed the law prohibiting hair discrimination, including in Illinois, but many say more work still needs to be done. NBC 5’s Lexi Sutter reports.
