Chicago Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan has been hoping to get his grandmother out to a game at Soldier Field, and this week, the team surprised him by helping to make that happen.
Trevathan's grandmother has been dealing with illness in recent years, but during a speech at the team's practice facility at Halas Hall, head coach Matt Nagy said that he had a surprise for the linebacker:
Trevathan, emotional from the surprise, welcomed his grandmother and family to the facility, and will have them in the stands Sunday when the Bears take on the New England Patriots.
