Former Cubs bench coach Brandon Hyde sold his Evanston home earlier this month for $840,000, as first reported by the Chicago Tribune's Bob Goldsborough.
Per its listing, the home was built in 1938 and is 5,090 square feet, residing on a 0.32 acre lot. It has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. Cubs fans will appreciate the backyard, which has grass straight from Wrigley Field.
Hyde, 47, spent five seasons on the Cubs coaching staff. He was Rick Renteria's bench coach in 2014, moving to first base coach in 2015, when the club hired Joe Maddon — who brought Dave Martinez on as bench coach.
Hyde moved back to bench coach in 2018, when Martinez took over as the Nationals manager. The Orioles hired Hyde as manager in 2019.
