Cubs Get Dressed Up for ‘Easy Rider' Road Trip

The Chicago Cubs are embarking on their “Easy Rider” road trip this week, donning motorcycle vests and attire as they head to the west coast.

Despite a tough loss on Sunday, the Chicago Cubs still got into the spirit of things for their "Easy Rider" road trip.

The Cubs, who blew a late lead against the Washington Nationals on Sunday, will take on the San Francisco Giants and Arizona Diamondbacks on a West Coast swing this week, but before they hit the road, they had to don their leather vests and bandanas for the bus ride to the airport:

The 'Easy Rider' trip is just the latest in a series of themed-road trips that manager Joe Maddon has cooked up. The Cubs have worn "Anchorman" suits on a trip this season, and in past seasons they've worn matching tracksuits and embarked on a "Zany Minimalist" trip, among others.
