Brewers Troll Cubs, Other Teams Following Game Cancellations

22 games have already been cancelled this baseball season due to weather

It’s take two of the Cubs home opener and the Wrigley scene was totally different Tuesday than Monday’s cold- and snow-canceled first attempt. NBC 5’s Lisa Chavarria has the details.

The Chicago Cubs were forced to cancel a game for the second time this season on Sunday, as snow and rain wiped out their planned game against the Atlanta Braves, and another team is trolling them because of the conditions.

The Milwaukee Brewers, who played in the retractable roof-equipped Miller Park, posted a photo of the ballpark with a caption aimed squarely at the Cubs (and a few other teams):

“Not having a roof on your home sounds miserable in this weather,” the tweet read.

The Cubs, Reds, Tigers, Indians, Twins, and Royals were all tagged in the tweet, as they all had their games postponed due to inclement weather on Sunday.

The Cubs and Brewers have some history when it comes to weather and game cancellations, as the Brewers were furious at the Cubs last season after no rain fell following a postponement at Wrigley Field.
