The Buzz: Morrison worked as a radio news reporter and anchor in Iowa before returning to his home state of Illinois to become a 5th grade teacher. Shortly after, Morrison and his brother partnered in a franchised disaster cleanup and restoration company. He has served as representative in the 54th district since 2010.
Morrison holds traditional beliefs on marriage and supports the second amendment.
