Beavers: “I'm No Stool Pigeon”

Cook County Commissioner William Beavers, speaking through the intercom of his apartment building, denied allegations he used thousands of dollars from campaign accounts for personal use and failed to report those funds on three consecutive tax returns. He said the feds were retaliating against him because he refused to wear a wire on fellow Commissioner John Daley.
