Roaming Reptiles Seized

A 12-foot Burmese python that weighed at least 120 pounds and two six-foot long boa constrictors have been confiscated from a rental house in Southeast Texas where neighbors complained about roaming reptiles. Police say several snakes recently escaped from the house, slithered to a nearby street and were run over. Snakes were also spotted in the yard.
