Beloved TV Star Andy Griffith Has Died

Andy Griffith, the folksy star of one of TV’s most beloved shows “The Andy Griffith Show” and “Matlock”, has died at the age of 86. For eight seasons Griffith played the laid back sheriff of fictional Mayberry, North Carolina and for millions of viewers he was the the American South personified.
