There were no obvious signs of forced entry into the home, but officials said the front door to the residence may have been left unlocked

The man entered the van on the driver’s side and fled eastbound on 84th Street from Laporte.

The man is described as a white male, between the ages of 30 and 35, between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-10, and about 150-200 pounds, police said. He was wearing jean shorts and a dark-colored shirt.
