Winter Storm Leaves Ice-Covered Power Lines, Downed Trees in its Wake

A winter weather system that brought freezing rain, ice accumulation and gusty winds to the Chicago area Wednesday has left downed trees and thousands without power. In Lake Villa, a giant downed tree blocks a road as an icicle covered power line droops above.
