Why I Run: Mark Fung

“One of the reasons I love the Chicago marathon so much is you get to see so many flavors of Chicago and so many different neighborhoods. It’ s so cool to run all the way up to Boystown and Lincoln Park. The energy and vibe at the beginning of the race and then towards the end of the race, to get that same level of energy from Pilsen or Chinatown and have people hand me churros or to see the drummers in Chinatown it’s so amazing. Chicago is just an amazing place for runners.”
