The Bears pulled off an impressive win with the national spotlight on, taking out the Cowboys in an away game on Monday night. Who really stood out?
Grizzly Bears: The players who two-stepped all over the big blue star.
Major Wright: With two of Tony Romo's four interceptions, Wright led the way for a defense that drove Romo crazy all night. He finished the night with two interceptions, two broken up passes and five tackles.
Brandon Marshall: And that's what a No. 1 receiver looks like. Someone who will make the catch if the ball is thrown near him, fight for more yards, make seven catches for 138 yards and a touchdown? Yes, that's exactly who the Bears need to lead on offense.
Lance Briggs: You know what linebackers don't have to do very often? Sprint for 75 yards. Still, when Briggs got the ball in his hands after a Henry Melton sack or tip, Briggs got it done and made one out of two Bears defensive touchdowns. He added six tackles, a forced fumble, and a deflected pass.
Teddy Bears: The Bears who were lassoed by the Cowboys:
The running backs: The passing attack was clicking on Monday night. Thank goodness, as the running game was having a tough time getting anything done. Matt Forte broke out for a 14-yard run, but other than that, Forte, Michael Bush and Kahlil Bell struggled. Combined, they had just 93 yards
Julius Peppers: Somehow, Romo was sacked just once on Monday night, despite having troubles with his line previously. The Bears secondary took the stage as the vaunted pass rush took a backseat. Still, the nice part is that the Bears defense is good enough that if Peppers and the line have an off day, the secondary can have a four-interception day.
