Due to severe weather, the Chicago White Sox game with the Kansas City Royals suspended their Memorial Day game to Tuesday.
The game originally set to take place Monday will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on Tuesday, the White Sox announced in a press release.
All game tickets, parking passes, and Stadium Club passes for Monday's game will be honored for a 4:40 p.m. game Tuesday, the team said, "and the scheduled game will begin approximately 30-40 minutes after the conclusion of the suspended game but no sooner than 6:40 p.m."
Gates to the ballpark are set to open at 3:40 p.m. and parking lots will open at 3 p.m., the release stated.
Memorial Day in the Chicago area was met with severe weather as storms brought hail, damaging winds, heavy rain and even the threat of tornadoes - and it's not over yet.
