Watch: 4-Year-Old Girl Gets Amazing Hospital Sendoff After Beating Inflammatory Syndrome Linked to COVID-19

Amelia Ateca, 4, received an emotional sendoff at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge earlier this month after beating pediatric multi-system inflammatory syndrome, also referred to as the “mystery” syndrome linked to COVID-19, the hospital said. Amelia was admitted to the hospital in late April and spent seven days on a ventilator before recovering just in time to head home for her fifth birthday.
