Unearthing A Piece of Bronzeville History

An archaelogical dig was held at the former site of Camp Douglas in Bronzeville by the Camp Douglas Restoration Foundation. Its sole purpose was to train 40,000 Union soldiers but that changed once the Civil War had started.
