2 Children Hospitalized After Being Found Walking Alone in Frigid Weather

Two young children were rushed to a local hospital Wednesday after they were found walking along outside of a suburban apartment building.

According to the Cook County Sheriff’s Department, the children, a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old, were found walking outside of an apartment building in unincorporated Arlington Heights. One of the children was improperly dressed, according to authorities, and both kids were crying and had skin redness.

Both children were taken to an area hospital to be treated for their injuries.

No further information was available on their condition.
