Afternoon temps to hover in the mid-20s

The new sanctions that the Obama administration plans to impose on Russia on Monday over the crisis in Ukraine, will include high-tech exports to Russia’s defense industry, White House deputy national security adviser Tony Blinken said on Sunday.

In case you've been missing the white, wet stuff that defines our winters and covered our streets a couple weeks ago, it's making its way back.

About 1-2 inches of snow could cover the ground early this afternoon. Precipitation will taper into flurries later on, but be careful on your drive home this evening.

Afternoon temps are expected to top out between 24 and 28 degrees. Friday will be seasonably cold, with more flurries possible.
