Six Flags Great America's new, 4D interactive thrill ride will open at the park just in time for Memorial Day weekend.

The amusement park revealed that JUSTICE LEAGUE: Battle for Metropolis will open at the park Friday.

The 4D ride allows guests to “engage in a full-sensory journey as they battle alongside Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern against Lex Luthor, the Joker and his henchmen,” the park said.

The ride will feature a 22,000-square-foot “hall of justice” and a 4D experience “with wind, fire, mist and fog effects, plus life-like animatronic characters.”

"This is the most innovative and multi-faceted attraction that this park has ever built," Hank Salemi, park president, said in a statement. "The advanced technology of JUSTICE LEAGUE: Battle for Metropolis surrounds the riders throughout the course in non-stop action from start to finish."
