A man was shot to death early Wednesday after answering a knock on the door of a home in Chicago's New City neighborhood.
Heath Huntspon, 25, was shot after he opened the door to the home on the 5300 block of South May about 12:15 a.m. and talked to four males, police said.
Huntspon was shot twice in the chest, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
The victim, who lived on the same block where he was shot, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the medical examiner’s office.
