Ravinia has added several new shows to its 2019 lineup, just days before tickets to the coveted venue go on sale.
The popular suburban venue announced it was adding at least eight new performers to the jam-packed list of summer concerts.
Among the artists joining the acts will be Melissa Etheridge and George Thorogood, Lenny Kravitz, Mary J. Blige, Buckcherry, Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul & Mary, Rick Springfield and Richard Marx and others.
More than 140 events were already on the calendar at the iconic Highland Park venue.
Ravinia released its full schedule in March, featuring classical music, some of the biggest names in music, plus performances of iconic movie scores.
Tickets are set to go on sale May 7 for May, June and July concerts and on May 8 for August and Septemeber shows.
