Muggy Conditions Likely for Blackhawks Parade, Rally

Chicago Blackhawks fans heading to the Stanley Cup celebration parade and rally will want to make sure they stay hydrated. Weather conditions Thursday are likely to be very warm and muggy.

But the rain and storms that have been forecast may occur before and after all of the festivities, giving spectators a reprieve from really bad elements.

Forecast models generated Wednesday evening showed showers and storms popping up in the south suburbs during the afternoon hours.

Temperatures will sit around 72 degrees by 9 a.m., warming to 77 degrees around noon and near 80 degrees in the afternoon. The winds will be from the south, so there will be little relief even along the lakefront.
