NIU to Change Out-of-State Tuition to Lure More Students

Northern Illinois University is adopting a new tuition rate plan to bring students in from outside Illinois. NIU’s board of trustees approved a plan to set out-of-state tuition at the same rate as in-state tuition. The change takes effect next fall and applies to new students as well those already enrolled.
