Customers React to NBC 5 Responds Report About Sneaky Fees in Gas Bills

After our report last month on the fees some Nicor Gas customers say they were charged for but never approved, NBC 5 Responds heard from others who say it happened to them, too. The charges in question come from Nicor Home Solutions, which is separate from Nicor Gas but owned by the same company. A Nicor Home Solutions insider spoke to NBC 5 Responds on the condition of anonymity, and calls the billing practice in question “predatory.” Lisa Parker reports.
