Metra Warms Up Switches With Awesome Blaze

The fire seen along one of the Chicago area’s Metra lines was a controlled blaze to warm up switches in the frigid cold and ensure they work for the day’s commute. This video was shot near the Western station on the Milwaukee District North Line.
