McCarthy Talks Crime Stats, Loop Shooting

8/01/14: Police Supt. Garry McCarthy joined the NBC 5 NEWS TODAY on Friday to tout newly-released crime stats that show the city closed the first seven months of the year with the fewest homicides since 1963. He also discussed Thursday’s Loop shooting and how the state’s gun laws may have had a role in that incident.
