A man was hospitalized in serious condition Saturday after being rescued by firefighters at Jackson Harbor, according to police.
At approximately 4:43 p.m. in the 5500 block of South Lake Shore Drive, the Chicago Police Department's Marine Unit and CFD personnel responded to a call of a person in the water.
The individual was pulled from the water by firefighters and taken to the hospital in serious condition.
No additional information was immediately available.
