Man Accused of Killing His Girlfriend and Bringing Her Body in a Suitcase to Markham Appears in Kentucky Court

Melvin Martin, the man who allegedly killed his girlfriend and brought her body to suburban Markham, made his first court appearance in Louisville Thursday after being extradited. A judge set his bond at $500,000.
