Lowest Temperatures Recorded Across the Chicago Area Thursday

The only thing that may keep Chicagoans warm is knowing we are not alone in this bitter war against winter

The best place to be in Chicago’s subzero temperatures is inside and indoors, but for some families that might not be the case. They say heat inside their building is not working, leaving them inside in the cold. NBC Chicago’s Christian Farr reports.
