Kwanzaa Events Kick Off in the Chicago Area

Kwanzaa is a weeklong celebration of African culture and on Wednesday, several public events in the Chicago area helped kick off the first day. NBC 5’s LeeAnn Trotter shares that according to organizers, there seems to be a heightened interest in this non-religious celebration this year.
