With Valentine's Day approaching, many single people are hoping to find a relationship that emulates some of the finest love stories: Antony and Cleopatra, George Burns and Gracie Allen , Will and Jada Pinkett Smith and now, the Obamas?
"There's a definite mystique about them," Michelle McKinney Hammond, an author and relationship expert, told the Chicago Tribune.
Hammond noticed that several people were asking her how to best find a connection like that of the President and the First Lady. So she added a segment to her relationship seminars on how to "keep your romance together, Obama-style."
Hammond has said that the famous couple is more than just loving; they're also very supportive and friendly with each other. They're not afraid to be publicly affectionate, and the romance they share is obvious in how they look at each other.
"You want to look all googly-eyed at your husband like Michelle does, and you want him to look all googly-eyed at you like Barack does with Michelle," Hammond said.
Hammond has sold more than 2 million books and has appeared on Bill Maher's Politically Incorrect, NBC's The Other Half, and several other television shows. She is holding a workshop for singles Friday at Chicago's Park Community Church.
