Holiday Events Begin in Chicago

LeeAnn Trotter gives viewers a guided tour through some of the most beloved holiday events in chicgo. At Lincoln Park Zoo there is a new ice skating rink. Skating there is free. The 22nd annual ‘Wreathing of the Lions’ also took place today at the Art Institute. Starting tonight and continuing for the next three Fridays is Caroling at Cloudgate….

The 22nd annual "Wreathing of the Lions" takes place Friday at the Art Institute.

Starting at 6 p.m. Friday and continuing for the next three Fridays is ‘Caroling at Cloudgate’.

And don't forget the Christkindlmarket at Daley Plaza. The German-American holiday market runs through Dec. 24th.

And finally, the Toys for Tots parade hits city streets Sunday. The 36th annual parade strives to get children in need toys at Christmas. Anyone with a legal motorcycle can take part Sunday morning at 83rd and Western.
