Eastern Orthodox Christians Celebrate Easter Sunday

Today marks Easter Sunday for Eastern Orthodox Christians. Greek Orthodox and other Eastern Christian churches throughout the Chicago area use the Julian calendar to calculate the date of Easter. It comes five weeks after Catholics and Protestants celebrated their Easter Sunday.
