Officer Suspended After Controversial Traffic Stop Involving Grandmother

An Alpharetta, Georgia police officer has been suspended and is being internally investigated for his conduct during a traffic stop with a 65-year-old grandmother. Rose Campbell was pulled over for failing to maintain her lane. During the stop, she refused to sign her citation because she said she believed signing admitted guilt. Campbell was forcefully pulled from her car as an officer shouted profanities at her, according to dashcam footage. Campbell said she doesn’t believe the officer should be fired, but wants better training for officers. (Courtesy: Alpharetta Police Department.)
